How would someone describe you in one sentence?
I am a very optimistic person – I always try to look on the bright side.
What's your greatest career achievement to date?
This job right here, right now is my greatest career achievement - so far. I work in Nominations for Tweenhills who now stand 6 very exciting stallions, including Cartier Horse of The Year Roaring Lion, record-breaking Australian first-season sire, Zoustar, champion older miler Lightning Spear, leading UK-based first-season sires Havana Gold and Charm Spirit, and exciting first-season sire for 2019, Hot Streak.
The breeders I work with and the bloodstock I am surrounded by has got to be the dream for anyone who works in the Thoroughbred industry.
What are your ambitions for the future?
In the near future I’d like to become a winning racehorse owner and then longer term breed winners. The reason my ambitions are this way around is because I hope to be supporting my boyfriend, Tom Ward, who will be training this time next year – together I would love to produce a winner.
I’d also very much like to get back in a dressage saddle again. I used to compete in dressage and would love to start again.
And finally, who'd be your ideal dinner party guests?
I’d just want good friends around me and I have plenty of them so they’d fill a table!
